INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY

We take your right to privacy seriously and want you to feel comfortable using our web site. This Privacy
Policy deals with personally identifiable information (referred to as Data; below) that may be collected
by us on our site. This Policy does not apply to other entities that we do not own or control or persons

Information Collected by gbchildrenshome.org
Gbchildrenshome.org collects two types of information from users: personal data such as name and
email address (for newsletter registration); and aggregated data such as information about traffic
patterns on gbchildnreshome.org (for example, how many users visit gbchildrenshome.org on a daily

Our newsletter registration process requires a name and email address.  Providing us with other
information is at your option; we are not responsible for information collection via online donations

Though gbchildrenshome.org makes every effort to preserve donor and customer privacy, we may need
to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such
action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on
our organization.
Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, the Grand Bahama Children’s
Home will not disclose any Personally Identifiable Information it gathers from you on our website.
This Privacy Policy does not protect you when you send content, or requests to gbchildrenshome.org by
email. If you want to keep them private or proprietary, do not send them in an email to
gbchildrenshome.org.  We try to answer every email promptly but are not always able to do so.

No guarantees

While this Privacy Policy states our standards for maintenance of information and we will make efforts
to meet them, we are not in a position to guarantee these standards. There may be factors beyond our
control that may result in disclosure of data. As a consequence, we disclaim any warranties or
representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of Information.

DONATION REFUND POLICY

The Grand Bahama Children’s Home generally does not refund donations made using the
gbchildrenshome.org website. We will honor your request for a refund only under special circumstances

if you have made an error in making your donation to the Grand Bahama Children’s Home. The request
must be made within 15 days of your donation.
To request a refund, call the Grand Bahama Children’s Home at (242) 352-7852. Refunds are returned
using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be
credited to that same credit card.
