Fatima-Zahra Kaboub

Director

Fatima-Zahra serves on the 2021 GBCH Board as a Director. She fell in love with The Bahamas when she first visited Grand Bahama in 2001. Born in Morocco, Fatima-Zahra moved to France when she was four years old. While in France, she studied business and communication and passed her Baccalauréat at the Lycée Alphonse Daudet in Tarascon. She later went on to the Lycée Jeanne d’Arc to pursue a higher degree and also attended the University of Avignon. Having a passion for fashion, Fatima-Zahr studied Haute Couture at Marseille fashion school. She has worked in the fashion industry as an Assistant Designer to Michel Klein and participated in photoshoots in Paris with various designers, including Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen. For the last decade, she has been the Personal Assistant to Sarah St. George, Acting Chairman of the Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited. As part of her portfolio, she
helps with Community Support. On behalf of the St. George family, Fatima-Zahra has been actively involved with The Village comprising of the Grand Bahama Children’s Home, Columbus House, the PACE School and Genesis Academy. Fatima-Zahra is a board member of the Conchman Triathlon and a member of Women United Northern Bahamas. She is fluent in English and French and enjoys outdoor activities. Her hobbies include cooking, interior decorating, and painting objets d’art from conch shells to plates and furniture.
