Debbie Hastings

Debbie Hastings lives in California with her husband, two children, cat and dog. Growing up she
always wanted a career that helps others, but particularly helping those most vulnerable and
has dedicated her whole 20-year career working for non for profits. Originally from the UK,
Debbie has worked in a mixture of roles from fundraising to broader strategy and service
provision positions. She was first introduced to the Grand Bahama Children’s Home through the
Kate and Justin Rose Foundation, where she used to sit on the board and who have been a large
funder to the Home. 

She loves hiking with her dog, sushi and horses, which she started riding at age 6. Once her
children grow up a bit more, she hopes to take up her childhood hobby once again.
